Empire Times

Empire Times was the student newspaper of Flinders University until it the introduction of VSU cut of it's funding base in july of 2006. It was published by the Students' Association of Flinders University (SAFU) and was first published in 1967 . The editorial team of the paper was elected yearly by all students at Flinders Uni. The editors were required by the Students' Association's constitution to produce and distribute at least ten printed editions of the paper during the academic year. Generally however the editors would produce an edition every fortnight of term. Historically Empire times had a reputation for controversial humour and anti-establishment discussion, in more recent editions of the paper this was less true.
